Dr. Nicholas Snieder
Dr. Nick graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2014 and was happy to return to St. Catharines where he was born and raised. Dr. Nicks passion for helping animals started when he was much younger; growing up in a house filled with cats and dogs. Since then his love for pets has only grown and he felt that Veterinary Medicine would be a way that he could tie his love for medicine and pet care together. Dr. Nick is very passionate about Dermatology and Parasitology.
Throughout his time at the Ontario Veterinary College Dr. Nick volunteered with the Pet Loss Support Hotline, which is a service that grieving pet owners can utilize if they need someone to talk to. During this time, it solidified his awareness of the human-animal bond, and the importance and impact that pets have on peoples lives. As such, Dr. Nick views every patient as a member of the family and treats them as though they were his own.

Dr. Haidy Habib
She loves her dog Zeus and sees his eyes in all the pets she treats.
She is a people-oriented veterinarian who has developed a very strong bond with her clients.
MANAGER📂

Cathrine Aziz
My name is Cathrine and I love my job as the manager very much. A little background about myself, I have a Bachelor’s degree in tourism and hotels at the Alexandria University. Previously worked as a supervisor with the Turkish Airline. I have two sons Kyrillos and Karas who are my world and whom I love very much. I’m incredibly thankful for them and how supportive they are. I also have a cat named Kito, he’s a great addition to the family and the kids absolutely love him.
Ultimately, I cannot express how much I love working with animals, it’s always been a passion of mine. When clients bring in their furbabies, I instantly fall in love with each and everyone of them.
VETERINARY TECHNICIANS 🧪

Deirdre (RVT)
I grew up always wanting to work with animals and to have plenty of my own. I always dreamed of working in the veterinary field ever since I was young, either as a veterinarian or a registered vet technician!
I studied Bio-Medical Sciences at the University of Guelph and graduated in 2016. I started working at the Dog and Cat Clinic of Niagara in May 2015 and fell in love with the work. I went back to school in 2019 to study to become a veterinary technician, and proudly became an RVT in 2021!
I absolutely love working with all animals and look forward to meeting everyone and their pets!

Corey (VT)
Graduated Northern College, Veterinary Technician Program in May 2001.
I have always had an over whelming passion for animals and knew that working with animals would be my career. Growing up on a small hobby farm gave me the opportunity to have many pets prior to going away to College. Most if not all of my pets, horses, goats, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens and even a donkey were rescues and they all lived out there lives on the hobby farm that I grew up on.
Although I’ve only been part of the Dog and Cat Clinic of Niagara’s team since May 2019, I have worked as a Veterinary Technician in Niagara for 20 years.
I look forward to looking after and loving your pets.

Kim (RVT)
I was a receptionist elsewhere for 20 years and I realized that this just wasn’t the career for me. Before I made my final decision I started volunteering at the Dog and Cat Clinic of Niagara which confirmed my plans. I took the leap in 2019 to go back to school. I graduated in 2021 and now have my RVT license.
I grew up bringing injured animals home to nurse back to health, which probably drove my Dad crazy! It just made more sense that I work in the field that started it all. I just adore taking care of animals and I have a cat named Lincoln and a Golden Retriever named Hunter who I adopted both early 2020. I have a lot of love for Golden Retrievers and if you bring yours in they will definitely get loads of attention and affection!
I also have 4 children so my fur babies get a lot of love and are just like my children. Changing my career has been one of the best decisions of my life as I have a true passion for taking care of everyone else’s fur babies!

GREETERS 🐾

Bowtie
Bowtie is our official greeter! He came to the clinic when he was 4 months old and has lived here ever since! When Dr. Aziz bought the clinic in March of 2015 he was very shy and didn’t like when there were a lot of people around, and would most likely be found hiding in the back or taking a nap. Now you’ll find him up on the counter just waiting to greet clients!
Fun Facts about Bowtie 🎀 :
- Hates to be picked up
- Loves all food – especially treats (will never turn down a treat)
- Loves chin and bum scratches
- Doesn’t make friends easily (especially hyper dogs) but once you’re a friend you’re a friend for life ♥

Kito
Kito “owns” Dr. Aziz and Catharine. “Kito” was named this by his human brother “Kiro”, he wanted his name to be close to his! Kito likes to hide in rooms and nap in the vets office. When it’s quiet in the clinic, Kito can also be found up with the Receptionists snuggled in a box or looking out the window.
Fun Facts about Keto:
- Loves to steal human food
- Tolerates being picked up and cuddled
- Loves to rough house with the staff
- Loves to chase and fight with Bowtie

Coyote
Coyote was our official clinic mascot for over 14 years. She was brought here by a family that saw her chased into their barn by a pack of coyotes! She was a wild and aggressive girl. After months of caring for her and earning each others trust, she became an obvious member of the team and we could never part with her. We were very lucky and fortunate to have her here with us.
Unfortunately, we did have to say goodbye to our lovely Coyote in June 2019, we will miss her but her memory will live on forever at the Dog and Cat Clinic of Niagara
